What is being checked
The inspector is checking whether the fixed water-spray system protects exposed LNG fuel tanks and adjacent boundaries, and whether crew can start, isolate and verify it during a gas-fuel fire scenario.

1What does this spray system protect?

The system cannot be started from the designated safe position.
A section is isolated or incorrectly lined up.
Records do not demonstrate distribution and pressure.
Residual water or failed heating compromises the system.
Master's practical note
Trace one spray section from remote start to the last nozzle. Pump operation alone does not demonstrate that water reaches every protected boundary.
