Have a zero-tolerance policy/procedure defining violence, harassment, sexual harassment, bullying and sexual assault and the response arrangements.Distribute the policy/procedure in crew members’ native languages and give each seafarer a copy.Define management responsibilities and response resources, including medical care and mental-health support.Train all ranks and relevant shoreside personnel, covering policy implementation, gender sensitivity, communication, conflict resolution and early warning signs.Provide reporting channels, timely/fair/effective complaint handling and privacy/confidentiality safeguards.Post Flag and relevant country-of-residence authority complaint contacts in recreation rooms and maintain a complaints log.
